Our Story

Stephen and Chris first met back in 2013 when Stephen was leading a Productivity team for an Australian financial services company. Chris acted as a key mentor to Stephen as he embarked on an organisational excellence maturity pathway. Since then, they've been discussing writing a book about what makes a high-performing, sustainable culture, given both their collective experience in organisations. 

 

Similarly, Brad and Chris have known each other since around 2013, when Brad led the Enterprise Excellence journey at Signet in Brisbane, Australia. Brad had spent a year studying organisations around Australia that had undergone excellence journeys/transformations. He discovered only two organisations that could truly sustain and achieve ongoing results. Chris supported both of these organisations and then mentored Brad in all things 'excellence' and achieving sustainable results.

When Chris introduced Brad to Stephen , they immediately connected on the topic of what makes a great leader. They found that leadership plays a prominent role in achieving sustainable excellence and ongoing results within an organisation.

 

The three authors had a shared vision and purpose, which they believed they needed to capture and share with leaders and aspiring leaders to help them develop into high-performing leaders who serve.
